Pickleball Center welcomes top-pro, Rick Witsken, at Nike Pickleball Camp
The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Nike Pickleball Camp with top-ranked Senior Pro, Rick Witsken. The 3-day pickleball camp, April 10-12 offers plenty of court time and the opportunity for players to take their game to the next level.
“Nike Pickleball Camp is designed to address your specific needs, increase your knowledge of the game and help you improve in a fun and friendly environment,” said Jayson Harris, Director of Pickleball, Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex. “With Rick Witsken serving as Camp Director, players will leave camp with a dynamic and improved skillset.”
Rick Witsken is a top ranked Senior Pro, Co-Founder of the National Pickleball League (NPL), winner of over 100 Senior and Open Pro Medals, and director of over 50 camps. Rick is currently ranked #1 on the APP Senior Pro Men’s Standings and is the founder of Team Witsken, which has run indoor tennis programs in Indianapolis and its surrounding area communities for the past 16 years.
Rick was world-ranked on the ATP Tour in both singles and doubles, winning 15 Gold medals at the Pro level in singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles, including Gold medals with Dave Weinbach and Simone Jardim. He began his post-playing career working with his brother, Todd Witsken, at the Indianapolis Tennis Center, serving as Tennis Director and coach of the IUPUI men’s tennis team.
The three-day camp offers opportunities for Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced level players, ages 18+. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
