$250K Match met, Donor gifts $100K for new Match in 2025

The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex is pleased to announce that it has officially exceeded its 2024 fundraising goal for its Courting Love capital campaign, netting $251,500 out of its $250,000 match goal, meaning that the tennis and pickleball complex is now $501,500 closer to renovating the Tennis Center.
Additionally, inspired by the success of the 2024 match, a new anonymous donor has come forward with a new $100,000 match to keep the Courting Love campaign moving forward in 2025. The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex anticipates a budget of approximately $2M to replace the Tennis Center’s exterior membrane and insulation, update the HVAC and lighting systems, resurface the indoor tennis courts, and refresh the Welcome Center. Out of the $2M needed budget, $1,286,500 has been raised to for this project, including $500,000 committed by the City of Steamboat Springs.

The Steamboat Springs Tennis Complex has served the Steamboat Springs community for over 30 years, during which it has won several national USTA and industry awards for the quality of its facilities, programs, coaching and customer service.
In November 2024, out of thousands of tennis facilities in the country, the Steamboat Tennis Center was designated a Premier Facility by the United States Tennis Association, a prestigious and coveted designation in the racquet sport industry, received by only 50 facilities nationwide.
Qualifying criteria to receive the designation include USTA Member Organization, Safe Play approved coaches, full-time pros certified by PTR and/or USPTA, positive Customer Experience protocol, dedicated website and online registration availability, loaner racquet and equipment availability, and proven engagement in community and partnerships.
The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex is operated by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Court Sports for Life Foundation and donations are tax-deductible. Colorado income tax payers are also eligible for up to a 25% state income tax credit through the Colorado Enterprise Zone program.
