Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Code of Conduct & Indemnity Agreement

Code of Conduct

Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex (“STPC”) is fully committed to safeguarding and
promoting the well-being of all our guests. STPC believes it is important that everyone associated
with the complex should, at all times, act with integrity and show respect and understanding for the
safety and welfare of others.

All guests are expected to abide by the following STPC rules. Breaches may result in loss of playing
privileges or other disciplinary action.

• Act with good judgment, discretion and integrity; participate within the rules and etiquette of
tennis and pickleball.
• Do not discriminate against any individual by reason of race, gender, creed, color, national
origin, age, handicap, or sexual orientation.
• Respect your opponents, coaches, umpires, referees and their decisions.
• Respect fellow STPC members and guests.
• Treat all STPC property and equipment with respect, and clean/tidy up after yourselves.
• Refrain from swearing, yelling or physically threatening or other aggressive behavior toward
another player, employees or guests of STPC.
• Bullying behavior or sexual harassment will not be tolerated.

It is unacceptable for anyone on STPC premises to behave dangerously or inappropriately, or in a way
that distracts those coaching, playing or enjoying the facilities in any way, or that could cause
damage to STPC property. Guests are responsible for the behavior of anyone they bring to STPC. All
guests, visitors, coaches, employees, and volunteers shall report to STPC management any situation
that endangers the health and safety of anyone on STPC premises.

STPC has the right to impose the following or other appropriate sanctions on individuals or groups
who violate this Code of Conduct:

• Warning
• Reprimand
• Probation with or without conditions
• Suspension for a definite period with no refund of payments for time spent suspended
• Police action and possible criminal prosecution
• Termination of ability to play tennis or pickleball at STPC.

If you witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to STPC Management.
Waiver and Indemnity Agreement

Acceptance of my participation in this event is without responsibility of any kind by Steamboat Tennis
and Pickleball Complex (Court Sports for Life), the City of Steamboat Springs, and any other entity
sponsoring the event. I do hereby for and on behalf of my heirs and legal representatives RELEASE
and forever discharge STPC, its officers and representatives, the City of Steamboat Springs,
representatives of the sponsoring entities, or by third parties, which injuries may be in any way related
to my activities during the event and any period traveling to and from the event and all such claims
are hereby waived and released and covenant not to sue therefor. Additionally, I accept and
understand that STPC may use my photo or my child’s photo and/or image in promotional material.
By signing this agreement digitally, I accept these stipulations and have read and understand the
foregoing release, indemnity agreement and code of conduct.
