Youth Grant Program
Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex (STPC) is pleased to offer a Youth Grant Program for under-resourced youth, with funding provided by generous donors.
This program blends practical volunteer experience with financial support for juniors ages 13-18 to enroll in STPC programs, such as camps, clinics, drills, tournaments and other tennis and pickleball programs. Funding may not be used for private lessons. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and applicants may apply once per year. Applicants must wait one year to re-apply after funding is awarded. The maximum annual funding per applicant is $750.
This grant program can be used in conjunction with grant/scholarship programs provided by other organizations. Awardees will be expected to volunteer for STPC 15 hours for every $750 awarded. Volunteer hours must be completed in the calendar year that funding is awarded. Work will be coordinated by the Dept Head for which the grant funding is awarded. Tasks will be age-appropriate and will include such functions as court cleaning, landscaping, cleaning, organization, etc. Funding is limited, and we anticipate awarding 4-5 grants per year based on available funding.
