Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex Gears up for Colorado Gives Day!

The Steamboat Springs Tennis and Pickleball Complex is hard at work alongside Yampa Valley Gives, to gear up for Colorado Gives Day, Tuesday, December 10, with early giving starting on November 1. Yampa Valley Gives strives to widen the reach of the ColoradoGives program in an effort to make a difference for nonprofits in the Steamboat community and make it easier for donors to “Give where they live.”

In addition to participating in Yampa Valley/Colorado Gives Day, with early giving starting November 1, the Steamboat Springs Tennis and Pickleball Complex has a simultaneous campaign running, Courting Love, to refresh the Tennis Center, complete with a year-end, double-your-impact “Match.” Thanks to anonymous donors, the Courting Love “Match” means that every dollar donated to Courting Love will be instantly doubled through the end of the year.

The Steamboat Springs Tennis Complex has served the Steamboat Springs community for over 30 years, winning several national USTA and industry awards for the quality of its facilities, programs, coaching and customer service. This facility is in dire need of a refresh. Cost estimates to improve the Tennis Center are between $2M – $3M, with needed repairs including replacing the exterior Tennis membrane that was installed in 2005, replacing the HVAC system, failed insulation and lighting, resurfacing indoor tennis courts, and refreshing the Welcome Center, including front desk area, pro shop, locker rooms, and mezzanine.

How to give? For those interested in supporting the Steamboat Springs Tennis and Pickleball Complex as a whole, consider donating via the Yampa Valley/Colorado Gives Day portal here. Donors can earmark their donation to Tennis, Pickleball, and Youth Programming specifically.
