Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex to support nonprofits through Rally-for-the-Valley Open Play series Quarterly fundraising opportunity for area nonprofits through Pickleball
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Steamboat Springs, Colorado (September 26, 2026) The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to enrich the lives of Steamboat Springs’ area residents and visitors of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic groups through tennis and pickleball, is pleased to announce the launch of Rally-for-the-Valley, a quarterly Open Play series dedicated to supporting the philanthropic efforts of local charities. Each quarter, the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex will select a local nonprofit to partner with, making the select nonprofit the focus of one of the Pickleball Center’s high-energy Open Plays.
“The goal isn’t to raise a substantial amount of money for these nonprofits. Instead, it’s about giving community nonprofits exposure, raising awareness about what they do, and getting them in front of a large and engaged group of people,” said Jayson Harris, Director of Pickleball, Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex.
Players will pay an additional $10 on top of the individual Open Play price to participate, and 100% of that additional fee will be donated to the featured organization.
The participating nonprofit will also be invited to attend the event and execute whatever fundraising or awareness efforts that are relevant for them. They can promote their organization, collect donations, sell merchandise, offer a giveaway, or more.

“Program fees only cover 69% of the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex’s annual expenses,” said Meg Tully, Executive Director, Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex. “We understand the financial hardships nonprofits face. Our hope is to serve as a community partner to fellow nonprofits and are excited to offer the Rally-for-the-Valley
program to support nonprofits in our community.”
